Dr. Sarah Bleiler-Baxter is Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professor of Mathematics Education at Middle Tennessee State University. Her research focuses on faculty development, peer observation, undergraduate STEM education, and the intersection of teaching culture and organizational change. She also investigates undergraduate students' proving processes in collaborative settings. Dr. Bleiler-Baxter is the Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded project Advancing the Culture of Teaching in STEM through Diffusion of Strength-Based Reflexivity (ACT-STEM), which explores how strength-based approaches can foster reflective teaching practices and department-level transformation. She is passionate about building supportive, collaborative communities that empower STEM educators to align their teaching with their personal and professional values.
