Dr. Cassandra Mohr is a postdoctoral research fellow in mathematics education at Middle Tennessee State University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from Northern Illinois University, where she studied convex optimization algorithms. She also received her M.S. in Mathematics Education, her B.S. in Mathematical Sciences, and her B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Northern Illinois University.
Cassie's research interests relate to the learning and teaching of computational mathematics. She is especially passionate about merging her love of education with her love of computational math. In her free time, Cassie loves to read, run, and knit. She is also particularly fond of her dog, Violet.
